How do I become a Lion?
Becoming a Lion is simple. You should first decide whether you can afford a small amount of time to help the needy of your community. If you decide that this is for you, simply contact a local Lions Club and have a talk to one of the members.
There is a perception in some circles that service organisations such as Lions International require you to dedicate much of your leisure time to Lionism – THIS IS NOT SO. In Lions we stress that a member’s family and career come first and foremost. Lion’s service come sometime after these two important factors are satisfied. Of course any club would seek regular participation from its members but the decision to participate is always with the member.

Meetings
We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm dinner meeting at Club Rivers, Littleton St, Riverwood. Everyone is welcome to attend.
