GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL & PARKING

Gannons Park is located at the intersection of Isaac Street & Pindari Road, Peakhurst (see map). The park is divided into an upper park and lower park. The upper park is approximately 2.5 hectares of playing fields and is the site for the annual Lugarno Lions Spring Festival & Classic Vehicle Show. The lower park area, of approximately 3 hectares, is made available for public parking at $5.00 per vehicle with proceeds going to charity. Getting there by car Public off-street parking is available in Gannons Park. Entry to the public parking areas is via BOATRIGHT AVE, LUGARNO and JINDABYNE CRES, PEAKHURST ONLY. Patrons wishing to utilise the public parking will be charged $6.00 per vehicle with all money raised going to charity. A free bus service is provided to transport patrons from the lower park to the Festival and return. This service runs for the major part of the day. Drivers need to be aware that many vehicles use the public car-park and that entry times could be prolonged at peak times. Your patience is appreciated. There is also plenty of public street parking in the streets surrounding the park. Drivers MUST NOT park across any driveways in local streets. Police or Council Rangers will be asked to attend to any vehicle illegally parked. Disabled parking on the grounds is also available via the Boatright Ave entrance ($6.00 per vehicle). Drivers should note that Council barriers are placed to reserve or limit parking in designated areas around the ground. Under no circumstances should drivers remove these barriers. Police will be asked to monitor these spaces. Vehicles MUST NOT park in designated emergency exits (clearly marked) Getting there by public transport Public buses run past the park from main railway stations at regular intervals.
