Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal

For many years the Lugarno Lions have assisted the Salvation Army with its annual Red Shield Appeal by providing drivers and collectors. We also run a BBQ to feed the volunteers with gourmet sausage sandwiches and drinks supplied by our local member, the Hon Kevin Greene MP.

This year the event is being run on Sunday May 29, 2011 from Penshurst West Public School. All volunteers will congregate at the school at around 8am and hit the streets until lunchtime. The post collection BBQ will be back at the school.
